Associates do not have voting rights at FGB, but can be given voting rights by the individual committees where they serve.
In addition to the Full Governing Body, there are four committees in our governance structure. The following remits detail items which are monitored and evaluated by each committee. The committees are operating under authority delegated by the FGB. Full details of topics discussed are provided in the Committee agendas published below.
CURRICULUM COMMITTEE Chair: Graham Bodman Quality of Education for Focus subject and Core subjects: Intent; Implementation: Assessment, Quality of teaching, CPD, Quality Assurance; Impact: Pupil attainment and progress. Review of SIP and SEF. Staff Development including CPD Curriculum related Pupil voice & celebrations

HOLISTIC COMMITTEE Chair: Jane Clark Pupil wellbeing & Personal development: Pastoral support, SMSC, Character education, Values & Citizenship ('Be' Values) Healthy schools Talent nurturing & Extra-curricular activities. Behaviours and Attitudes: Behaviour management, Equalities & diversity Staff Wellbeing: Recruitment, retention, wellbeing, workload, CPD Keeping safe: Online safety, Prevent strategies SEND, CLAC and Pupil Premium provision and support within the above areas. PAY COMMITTEE Chair: Jane Clark The remit of this committee is to receive recommendations from the Headteacher on teaching staff pay awards and also to receive recommendations from the Headteacher appraisal governors on the Headteachers’ annual pay award. Any appeal resulting from both will be referred to a panel of governors who are not members of this committee.

RESOURCES COMMITTEE Chair: Oli Mott Funding Budgets: Budget approval, monitoring, spending. Capital spending. Policy managements and approval; Service to schools contracts and quality monitoring; Benchmarking; Inventory updates; SVFS, projects.
