At Radcliffe on Trent Junior School, we believe that learning extends beyond the classroom. Our extra-curricular provision gives pupils opportunities to discover new interests, develop their talents, build confidence and enjoy spending time with others.

We offer a varied programme of clubs and activities throughout the school year. These may include sport, art, music, reading, chess, languages, Lego, outdoor learning and environmental activities, alongside other opportunities that reflect the interests of our pupils.

Sport is an important part of our wider provision, with opportunities for pupils to take part in a range of activities and represent the school in competitions and events. We are proud of our sporting achievements, while also recognising that participation, enjoyment and developing confidence are just as important.

We encourage pupils to try something new, develop their interests, work with others and play an active part in school life. In keeping with our promise of No Outsiders – Everyone is Welcome, we want all pupils to feel that there are opportunities in which they can participate, belong and succeed.

The clubs available vary throughout the year according to pupil interests, staffing, seasonal activities and opportunities within the local community. Current club information, including dates, year groups and how to apply for a place, is shared with parents and carers each term. Clubs are usually bookable through Arbor.
