Pupil Leadership
At ROJTS, we believe that every child has the potential to make a positive difference. Pupil leadership is an important part of school life, giving children meaningful opportunities to take responsibility, contribute to decision-making and develop their confidence.
Our pupil leaders play a key role in shaping our school community through positions such as Pupil Council representatives, Learning Leaders, OPAL Leaders and House Captains. These roles enable pupils to work collaboratively, represent the views of their peers and help make improvements that benefit the whole school.
Through leadership opportunities, children develop valuable life skills including communication, teamwork, problem-solving and resilience. They learn to take responsibility, show initiative and understand the positive impact they can have on others. In doing so, they become active participants in school life rather than simply observers.
Pupil leadership also helps to foster a strong sense of belonging and pride in our school. By listening to and acting upon pupils' ideas, we ensure that children's voices are valued and that they feel empowered to make a difference.
Above all, pupil leadership reflects our school values of Be Kind, Be Curious and Be Brave. It encourages children to lead by example, support others and develop the confidence to contribute positively both within school and in the wider community.
We are incredibly proud of our pupil leaders and the enthusiasm, commitment and positive example they demonstrate every day.
